Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Snazooka collects, why, and what you can do about it. Snazooka is a product of GBA Solutions, a trading name of Salzburg 101 Adventures Ltd, a company registered in Ireland (CRO number 799468, VAT number IE4520984LH), based in Naas, Co. Kildare ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@snazooka.com.
Two kinds of people use Snazooka
Organisers create an event and decide who can see and manage it. For the information about your own account, we are the controller.
Guests share photos, videos and messages at an organiser's event. For that content, the organiser is the controller and we process it on their behalf, under our data processing agreement. If you're a guest and want something removed, the quickest route is to ask the organiser, who can delete it straight away. You can also contact us.

Phones usually record where a photo or video was taken. We actively remove that location from every photo and video before it's stored, so nothing shared at your event shows where it was taken.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell your information. Your browser remembers a guest's first name and sign in so you don't have to type them again. Our pages also use Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that requests come from a real browser rather than an automated script, to protect events from abuse. reCAPTCHA may set its own cookie and look at technical details of your browser and device for that purpose only.
Emails we send
We only email organisers, and only about their account and events: a welcome email when you sign up, a thank you and confirmation when you upgrade an event, reminders before your event, and a reminder two weeks before an event is deleted so you can download everything. Your payment receipt comes from Link. We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them, and we never email guests.

How long we keep it
- Guests can see an event's album for up to 30 days after uploads close (7 days on the Free plan).
- We delete each event, with all its photos, videos and messages, 90 days after uploads close. We email the organiser two weeks beforehand so they can download everything.
- Organisers can delete any photo or video, or ask us to delete a whole event, at any time.
- We keep payment records for six years, as Irish tax law requires.
- We remove organiser accounts that have had no events for two years.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, ask us to stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@snazooka.com and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
Children
Organisers must be 18 or over. Guests of any age can share photos at an event, and organisers of events with children should consider turning on approval, so every photo is checked before it's shown.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page and email organisers with active events.
